Questions men ask before they make the call.
Confidentiality, the consultation, virtual visits, labs, and costs, answered in plain language before you pick up the phone.
Before the first visit
Getting started
What does the consultation actually cover?
+
A conversation with a performance specialist, in person or virtual. You walk through what is going on and which services fit your picture. If a panel is appropriate, we schedule it. If a different service is the right starting point, we say that. No protocol, no pricing, and no commitment until both sides agree on the path.
Can the first conversation really happen virtually?
+
Yes. The virtual option exists for a reason. Some men, especially those weighing male enhancement or sexual health questions, would rather have the first conversation without walking into a med spa. The virtual consult is the same length, with the same provider, and covers the same ground. You can move to an in-person visit when you are ready.
What should I bring to the first visit?
+
Nothing you need to prepare in advance. There are no fasting instructions or prep steps for the consultation itself. If your path calls for a panel, you will get specific instructions when that draw is scheduled. Show up ready to talk through what you are experiencing; the specialist handles the rest.
How this is handled
Privacy and discretion
Will this be confidential?
+
Yes. Men’s Performance visits are scheduled with discretion in mind, with exclusive appointment hours for male enhancement specifically. The intake and consultation path are separate from the aesthetics booking flow. If you want to ask a question before committing to anything, call or text the practice directly at 513.818.8171.
What are the private enhancement hours?
+
The enhancement schedule is intentionally kept separate from the aesthetics schedule to provide a more discreet experience. Appointments are reserved during dedicated enhancement hours, minimizing overlap with unrelated visits.
Is the intake process separate from the rest of the practice?
+
Only enhancement follows a different intake process.
The panel
Labs and results
What does the panel actually show?
+
The specific tests included depend on your individual needs. Every panel is interpreted as a whole, with your symptoms, history, and health goals guiding the evaluation, not just a single number or reference range.
How fast do results come back?
+
Turnaround depends on the lab processing the draw. Your physician reviews results with you at a scheduled follow-up rather than leaving them on a portal for you to interpret alone, so the conversation happens once the read is ready.
What it costs
Costs
What does the consultation cost?
+
Most Men’s Performance consultations are complimentary. The male enhancement consultation is $99, credited in full against the procedure. Pricing for the services themselves is reviewed during the consult, against what your picture actually calls for.
How much does a service cost before I come in?
+
There is no fixed number to quote here because plans differ by person. The pricing page lays out the general framework for each service so you can ballpark before you book, and the exact figure is set during the consult.
Does this qualify for HSA or FSA?
+
Most plans qualify for HSA/FSA where applicable. Bring the specifics of your account to the consult and the team will confirm what applies to your plan.
By service
Treatment specifics
Is this just testosterone therapy?
+
No. Men’s Performance covers five distinct services: testosterone therapy, peptide therapy, male enhancement, ExoMind for cognition and mood, and laser grooming. Some men start with one and add others over time. Some never need testosterone at all and benefit more from ExoMind or peptides. The consultation is how we figure out which path fits.
How is peptide therapy here different from what I read online?
+
Peptides here are used selectively and supervised by a physician, with follow-up built in, rather than stacked from a forum. The plan is personalized to your goals and adjusted against how you respond.
Is male enhancement safe, and what is actually being used?
+
Dermal filler is placed beneath the skin of the shaft by a physician, the same family of materials used in facial and body aesthetics for decades, applied here with a different placement and a different goal. Dr. Hall selects the filler that fits your anatomy and your goal during the consultation.
What is ExoMind?
+
ExoMind is a non-invasive transcranial electromagnetic stimulation treatment, built on more than 40 years of science and data. It is FDA approved for depression, and it is also indicated for anxiety, PTSD, and impulsive disorders including binge eating. In practice, patients use it for the fog that will not lift: clearer thinking, sharper focus, better mood, and more stable emotional footing.
Does laser grooming work on beards and ingrown hairs?
+
Yes. Laser grooming is commonly used to clean up and sharpen a beard line, not just remove hair outright, and many men come in specifically because of ingrown hairs and razor irritation from regular shaving. Results depend on hair and skin type and vary by person, so the consultation is where we look at your picture and set expectations before you book a course of sessions.
