Botox + Dysport
Neuromodulators: Soften Movement. Refine Expression.
Personalized Botox and Dysport treatments designed to soften expression lines, balance facial movement, refine facial contours, and address select functional concerns.

What Are Neuromodulators?
Treat the movement behind the concern.
Neuromodulators temporarily reduce targeted muscle activity.
Aesthetically, they can soften expression lines, influence facial movement, and strategically refine areas of the face, jawline, neck, and shoulders.
Neuromodulators also have medical and functional applications for certain concerns related to excessive muscle activity, sweating, and chronic migraine.
At Choosi, treatment begins with understanding which muscles are contributing to the concern and what you’re trying to change.
Aesthetic Treatment Areas
Different muscles. Different treatment goals.
- Forehead + Frown Lines
- Soften horizontal forehead lines and the vertical “11” lines that develop between the brows.
- Crow's Feet
- Soften expression lines around the outer eyes created by smiling and squinting.
- Brow Lift
- Strategically balance muscle activity around the brows to support a subtly lifted, more open appearance.
- Bunny Lines
- Soften expression lines that develop along the sides of the nose.
- Gummy Smile
- Reduce excessive elevation of the upper lip to show less gum when smiling.
- Downturned Mouth
- Target muscles that pull down the corners of the mouth to support a more neutral resting position.
- Chin Smoothing
- Reduce overactivity of the mentalis muscle that can contribute to dimpling or a textured appearance of the chin.
- Masseter + Jaw Slimming
- Reduce activity and prominence of the masseter muscles to create a softer, slimmer appearance through the lower face when appropriate.
- Nefertiti Lift
- Strategically treat muscles along the lower face and neck to support greater definition through the jawline and neck.
- Neck + Platysmal Bands
- Reduce activity in prominent platysmal bands to refine the appearance of the neck.
- Trapezius Muscles (Trap Tox)
- Reduce prominence of the upper trapezius muscles to create a more elongated appearance through the neck and shoulders.
Beyond Aesthetics
Neuromodulators can do more than soften lines.
Botulinum toxin is also used for select medical and functional concerns involving muscle activity, nerve signaling, and sweat production.
Depending on your concern and candidacy, treatment may be considered for:
- Jaw Tension + Bruxism
- Target the masseter muscles to reduce excessive muscle activity associated with jaw clenching, tension, and teeth grinding.
- Chronic Migraine
- BOTOX® may be used as a preventive treatment for qualifying adults with chronic migraine using a specific medical treatment protocol.
- Excessive Sweating (Hyperhidrosis)
- Neuromodulator treatment can reduce nerve signaling to sweat glands to help manage excessive sweating. Treatment areas may include the underarms and, when clinically appropriate, the hands or feet.
Your provider will determine whether neuromodulator treatment is appropriate for your specific concern and whether additional evaluation or care is needed.
Botox + Dysport
Different products. Same principle. Personalized selection.
Choosi offers both Botox® Cosmetic and Dysport®.
Both are neuromodulators that temporarily reduce targeted muscle activity, but they are different formulations and their units are not interchangeable.
Your provider considers your anatomy, muscle strength, treatment area, previous experience, desired result, and product characteristics when determining the appropriate option.
You don’t have to arrive knowing which one you need.
Your provider will help determine the appropriate product and treatment plan for you.
The Choosi Approach
Treat the muscle, not the unit count.
Neuromodulator treatment shouldn’t begin with a predetermined number of units.
Your provider evaluates your anatomy, muscle activity, areas of concern, and desired outcome before determining product, placement, and dosing.
For aesthetic treatments, that means considering how different muscles influence your expression, facial shape, and overall balance.
For functional concerns, it means understanding what you’re experiencing and determining whether neuromodulator treatment is an appropriate part of your care.
Different muscles. Different purposes. One personalized treatment plan.
Your Treatment
Evaluate. Treat. Refine.
- 01
Assess
Your provider evaluates your anatomy, muscle activity, concerns, goals, and previous treatment history.
- 02
Personalize
Treatment areas, product selection, placement, and dosing are determined based on your individual anatomy and treatment goals.
- 03
Treat
Neuromodulator is injected into targeted muscles using a series of small injections. Treatment time varies depending on the areas and indication being treated.
- 04
Evaluate
Your results develop after treatment as targeted muscle activity begins to decrease. Your provider will guide you on appropriate follow-up and future treatment timing based on your response.
Results
Strategic treatment. Intentional results.
The result depends on what you’re treating.
For facial aesthetics, that may mean softer expression lines, refined movement, or greater balance.
For jaw slimming or Trap Tox, changes in muscle prominence develop more gradually as the treated muscles respond over time.
For functional concerns, the goal and expected response are specific to the condition being addressed.
Results are temporary, and duration varies by product, treatment area, dose, muscle activity, and individual response.
Preventative + Corrective Treatment
You don’t have to wait for a line to become permanent.
Neuromodulators can be used both to soften existing expression lines and to reduce the repeated muscle movement that contributes to those lines becoming more established over time.
For some clients, treatment begins after lines become noticeable. Others incorporate neuromodulators earlier as part of a proactive aesthetic maintenance plan.
There isn’t one “right age” to start. The decision should follow your anatomy, movement, concerns, and goals.
Neuromodulators + Your Aesthetic Plan
Movement is only one part of the picture.
Skin Rejuvenation
Address concerns such as texture, pigmentation, laxity, and overall skin quality.
Medical-Grade Skincare
Support your skin between in-office treatments.
Different concerns. Different tools. One personalized plan.
Investment
Your treatment is based on your anatomy.
Neuromodulator pricing depends on the product selected, treatment area, indication, and amount required.
Your provider will review your recommended treatment and pricing before moving forward.
Common questions
What's the difference between Botox and Dysport?
Both are botulinum toxin type A neuromodulators used to temporarily reduce targeted muscle activity. They are different products with different formulations and dosing, and their units cannot be directly compared or substituted.
Will I look frozen?
That isn't the goal. Aesthetic treatment is customized around your facial movement and the amount of expression you want to preserve.
What is Masseter Botox?
Masseter treatment targets the large muscles along the jaw. Aesthetically, reducing masseter activity can gradually create a slimmer lower-face appearance. Neuromodulators may also be used off-label to address excessive masseter activity associated with jaw clenching, tension, and bruxism.
What is Trap Tox?
“Trap Tox,” sometimes called “Barbie Botox,” refers to neuromodulator injections into the upper trapezius muscles. Aesthetically, treatment can reduce muscle prominence and create a more elongated appearance through the neck and shoulders.
What is a Nefertiti Lift?
A Nefertiti Lift uses strategically placed neuromodulator injections along the lower face and platysma to reduce downward muscular pull and support greater definition through the jawline and neck.
Can Botox help with excessive sweating?
Yes. BOTOX is FDA-approved for severe primary axillary hyperhidrosis, or excessive underarm sweating, in certain patients. Botulinum toxin is also used off-label for excessive sweating of areas such as the hands and feet.
Is Botox used for chronic migraine?
Yes. BOTOX is FDA-approved for prevention of headaches in qualifying adults with chronic migraine. This is a medical treatment protocol and differs from cosmetic Botox treatment.
How quickly will I see results?
Results develop gradually after treatment. Timing varies based on the product, treatment area, indication, and individual response.
How long do results last?
Results are temporary and vary by product, treatment area, dose, muscle activity, and individual response.
How many units will I need?
There isn't one appropriate unit count for everyone. Your provider evaluates your anatomy, muscle strength, treatment areas, and goals before determining dosing.
Can neuromodulators be combined with filler or skin treatments?
Yes. Because neuromodulators address muscle activity while filler, biostimulators, and skin treatments address different concerns, they may be combined within a broader aesthetic plan when appropriate.
One treatment category. More possibilities than lines.
